UNFPA Guinea Ecuatorial Evaluación del 7º Programa de País del UNFPA (2019– 2023)
El propósito de la evaluación fue analizar de forma externa e independiente la contribución del del Séptimo Programa de País del UNFPA al Desarrollo para Guinea Ecuatorial. El tripe objetivo de la evaluación fue realizar rendición de cuentas a los actores clave sobre el logro de los resultados esperados y sobre los recursos invertidos, apoyar la toma de decisiones basada en evidencia y aportar lecciones aprendidas a la base de conocimiento existente y proporcionar un conjunto de recomendaciones claras, prospectivas y prácticas para el próximo ciclo del programa de país.

UNFPA Response in Haiti Situation Report - September 2023

The humanitarian situation in Haiti is deteriorating, with escalating gang violence in Port-au-Prince, the Artibonite Department, and now extending to Grand'Anse. Between January and September 21, 2023, over 5,400 victims of gang violence were reported, and the numbers continue to rise.
UNFPA's response includes integrated mobile clinics offering reproductive health and psychosocial support in displacement sites, along with support for health facilities and safe spaces for women and girls.

UNFPA Refugee Response in Armenia: Situation Report #3 - 01 November 2023

As of October 20th, 101,848 refugees have been registered. Over half of them are women and girls. UNFPA estimates that 2,070 women are currently pregnant, and 1,380 will give birth within the next 6 months.
UNFPA distributed 5,680 dignity kits and is supporting two safe spaces for women and girls to access reproductive health care and other specialized support. UNFPA is also supporting the training of healthcare providers, including doctors, midwives, and nurses.

The innovative partnership between UNFPA, Komaya International Foundation (KIF) and the World Karate Federation (WKF) was born from the realization of the power of sports such as Karate, and how it can positively impact gender based violence. The partnership aims to develop joint actions using Karate as a platform to prevent and respond to gender-based violence and harmful practices by raising awareness of the role that Karate plays in preventing and responding to gender-based violence and rolling out gender-based violence prevention and response actions and sensitization during WKF events and tournaments. Together, UNFPA and the federation is promoting Karate activities to prevent and respond to gender-based violence through global networks and joint advocacy events along with communicating, exchanging ideas, and seeking other areas of cooperation around the prevention and response to gender-based violence through Karate.
